and I loved how much detail they went into, so I think I'm going to do the same! I don't think anyone will care, but it'll be relaxing and fun for me!
I don't know who my VERY FIRST OC was, one of them for sure being Theodore Faux. He's my cambion character, or as I often define him as a incubus just because cambion is a more detailed accurate term but a lot of people don't actually know what that means. So it's just easier calling him a incubus. (he'll come up A LOT in this)
But to be honest, after giving it a lot of thought, probably one of my very first to date is Shadow. He's this clanky cyborg like dude from an old story I was writing. He's a very calm natured dude, and heavily based off of my dad. I still have him today, I just don't use him anymore. He's still my baby and I still love him.
I have actually many favorites that I don't draw or talk about much, but I think the obvious answer to this is Theodore. Theodore has gotten so much time and development as I refined him and made him grow more and more each year. To his relations, back story, history, personality, and most of all character design.
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else? Actually a lot more than you'd think! Theodore's whole family, expect a few of his kids, are shared creations with friends. However, just to save space and time I will only list the ones GIVEN to me, not any characters that have SHARED creations.
Catherine was given to me by
because Theodore really wanted to have children, and so they made Catherine and I made Agatha, who is his two oldest children. And
Molly, Theodore's ghost child, was given to me by and those are the only ones that I can think of that have been given to me.
4. A character you rarely talk about? Thats a lot, actually. I never talk about my characters often just because they are very complex and live in a very complex world. I had a foster mother who hated whenever I shared anything with her, and my sister shows a lot of disinterest in them, and none of my friends ask questions about them. So to be honest, a lot of my characters, even my well known ones, never get spoken about like they once did.
I think my characters from old novel ideas get that the most. Like my characters from Unknown Dreams, a banned idea from way back when. Thats where Shadow comes from and other characters like him. I even had a circus one with this rebellious circus boy who could walk in people's dreams and create nightmares....i miss him he was fucking cool.
In the world Theodore lives in, there is many more that don't get the light of day. His kids sadly enough follow under this too. Catherine, even though being more developed than Walter and Luna, get talked about less than those two. Oswald following close behind. Theodore's son with Satan is never brought up either. Oswald works at a brothel where he works with three main women; known as the Three Sevens. Thats just to name a few. I haven't even brought up the demonic soul of Rasputin, his FBI coworker...like fuck man. No one knows about this world but me and it's fucking sad as all hell....
Next question please before I cry.
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/well known, which one would it be?
Considering my feelings on the last questions; I would want them all to be known. I want THEIR WORLD TO BE KNOWN! I've spent so much time on them and that world, and still working on it, and I would love to see ANYONE show interest in it besides me. But maybe it's all shit and maybe thats why no one cares hahahaha *looks at how many comments and likes I get...all 0s* maybe thats another factor.
Now for only ONE; this may shock you. I want David to become popular. David is Theodore's newest son shared between me and
. I love Theodore don't get me wrong, but David is far more interesting in his current state than Theodore is. Theodore is just a super old demon who is retired mainly just so he can focus on pleasuring his new husband and taking care of David. Theodore's backstory and history is far more interesting than his current state. I think people would be far more interested in the journeys that David and his niece Emily go on as a whole, than just Theodore by himself.
I think David would be a good way to show my world and those characters, in an interesting and fun way for people. Theodore is boring as shit, but I still love him.
6. What are two OCs of yours who look alike despite not being related?
Thats hard, because Theodore being my main OC and all my minor OCs are all related or connected to him. But I feel like none of them look the same, unless related. I feel like my characters look similar to other people's OCs. Not saying that I'm copying or they are, just some of my friends and mine OCs are similar in looks.
7. Would you ever be willing to give away/sell any of your OCs?
Most likely not. Even when I work with shared characters; I always have my own head canons that are different from the partners; because I'm a controlling head-strong bitch like that. For instance, Walter I see as a negative and angry person while the co-creator sees him more of a worried and saddened person.
I wouldn't want to see what others would do with my babies. I would have to have 0 emotional connection to them to let them go.
8. An OC of yours with a complicated design?
According to
my character designs are complicated as they finds it hard to draw them. But to me, I feel like they have grown more simple from their older designs. (looking at you Theodore and Agatha...and Emily...and well basically everyone)
BUT yes, there are some that are more complicated. I'd say David is one, for he has a lot of detail. Shadow with his rusty metal body parts and odd body details (teeth and bruising and veins around his metal limbs and plates, even his indent in his helmet head). Also Reck, a circus character inspired by Voldo from Soul Calibur; so many fucking straps and veins man.
9. Is there an OC of yours you would describe as a 'sunshine'?
A few actually. Catherine has a very sunshine personality, but I think David has to be the most Sunshine-personality I have so far. He's actually kinda inspired by Steven from Steven Universe; which is a character I actually relate to a lot. David's siblings have all been through a lot in the family and often have bitter tastes towards life. But David was lucky enough to have two loving dads and a finally stable family environment. So he's rarely ever bitter and sees the best in everyone and is always hopeful for the best in all situations. Sometimes he gets disproven of good outcomes; but at least he tries to see and be good in all aspects of life.
10. Your favorite OC that's not yours?
Geez, I don't have a favorite really. I also don't want anyone to feel bad if I don't pick theirs. So I'll just say I don't have a favorite. I love all the OCs I've ran into.
11. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Yes! Oswald is probably one of the top ones; he's a hitman working for a brothel ran by three women. He hunts down men who mistreat the women. Sometimes he just threatens them but sometimes he just straight up kills them.
His partner in crime, is Theodore's son Amos who is the son of Satan as well. Both him and Oswald work together; even though Amos mainly robs people and hoards all his goods in the depths of Hell with his father.
Walter, is another. I see him being a negative angry person who holds it in for his sister. Even though i could see him having ill intent with some characters. *cough*David*cough*
Toby, my circus OC who uses his circus life style often as a way to rebel against norms in society. (wearing stage make-up, feminine clothing etc.)
Thats the only few on the top of my head.
12. Name an OC of yours with a tragic backstory.
Toby has a tragic back story. His circus family was attacked by a government force trying to contain mutant like creatures; this led to the death of his love interest and the separation from his father, Reck.
Theodore also has a semi-dark back story. He was raised in medieval times on a farm with his mother and brother. His mother passed, leaving him and his older brother alone. He then had to live in a Church with his brother, as they used the Church as an easy way to stay alive. Now this doesn't sound too bad, but it's bad if you're a fucking demon training to be a priest.
Catherine was abused by her father; kept in the basement with only books for a mental outlet until she was rescued by Theodore.
Reck was predicted to be an abuser and rapist of women, so a witch cursed him to become a deformed creature. So he lives his life as a creepy monster, but does everything in his power to protect and respect women in hopes to prove he is not what the witch predicted and wishes for the curse to be broken.
13. Do you talk about your OCs with other people?
Yes, but no one really cares. So I dont go into a lot of detail or do much with them...I've tried to but...meh. Even now I'm holding back. but I'm remembering a lot of old characters I actually might redesign for fun.
14. Which of your OCs would be best at biology in school?
Theodore! He was a plague doctor, a soldier in WWI, helped both his partners to deliver their children, etc. He's not super educated but he has a good basic understanding of the human body.
For deeper meaning of biology; such as the study of just simple living things; probably Agatha, Emily and her father, and my witch OC Anton (maybe even David) who study plants and animals often in their hobbies.
15. Any OC OTPS?
THEODORE AND OLIVERTHEODORE AND OLIVERTHEODORE AND OLIVERTHEODORE AND OLIVER...Did I mention Theodore and Oliver? (Oliver is
's baby)
Vince and Lydia, and Reck and Hinley
16. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you.
I feel like a lot of you already know about Theodore and how I've had him since middle school; lets try someone else shall we?
Since Shadow keeps recurring; lets talk about him. Shadow is a super calm natured character modeled after my father's temperament. He takes life easy, he talks real smooth and when he's among friends he's nothing but kind hearted. He lives in a complicated world where everything in the human world is not defined; is defined there. Like shadow is named shadow because he IS the phenomena of shadows. His best friend Nightmare, IS nightmares. There is love and hate in this world, as they too are actual living creatures. Etc. You get the idea.
A human somehow crosses over into this world and he finds her and protects her and makes sure she makes her way back home safely is the plot of the story. But Shadow has little quirks inspired by me and my dad. He would hoard papers; drawings he did, paper work, cards, you name it. His house is filled with piles and piles of papers. Everything is old and warn out in his house, and he's just too lazy to replace or clean anything because he finds his little house just fine how it is. His favorite snack is pears and drinking canned pear juice. He's a dorky innocent character and I'm in love with him.
17. Do any of your OCs sing?
No, not really. :/ I dunno why but i see Theodore's voice as Pelle Almqvist the lead singer of The Hives.

18. Which of your OCs is the most artistic?
Probably Toby because he loves the arts; he was raised around it his whole life.
19. Is there an OC of yours that people tend to mischaracterize?
I don't know, because I share a lot of my OCs and I don't talk about mine a lot. I think maybe Theodore? Not a lot of people know about him and might just assume his personality? I'm not sure really.
20. Introduce an OC that has changed from your first concept work.
I've had two characters do this; a homestuck OC and Myra. Myra was suppose to be this skinny shy girl like Molly. Also very creepy with being interested in the dead due to being so close to her dead sister.
But I decided to make Myra heavy set instead to give my characters different body types. And then she became this very confident loud mouth girl, who is known to be the slut of her high school and into the gothic look. Myra can, at times be insensitive to things, making her a complete bitch at times. But once you get her to stop being arrogant, and open her mind to new things, she's actually a sweetheart. Just don't take her bluntness to heart. She's actually a super loving sweet girl and sometimes doesn't know she crosses lines.
21. If you could meet any one of your OCs, which one would it be?
Theodore! Hands down! We'd talk for hours about religion and magic, and his amazing family and his fucked up life. We'd be very cuddly friends and we'd go on dates to the mall and shop until we were both broke. Fuck, I want him to be real now. Theodore BFF for life!
22. Which OC is most like you?
Take a WILD guess of who that might be? It starts with a T.
23. Have you ever had to change an OC's design or personality against your will?
Yes, mainly for RPs or school projects. Which can be frustrating or super fun depending.
24. Any OCs inspired by a certain song?
OMFG Shadow!!! Showbiz by Muse inspired him and the story in the beginning (and canon voice)
[link] and
[link] Counting Bodies Like Sheep by Perfect Cycle is what the story developed into.
25. Which OC is the most dangerous?
Probably Satan and Amos, Oswald being second to that. David and Emily both could be very dangerous even though they use their skills for good. They could do some damage.
26. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone where they're going?
David most likely. He's always getting himself into some adventuring trouble. Probably to find lost souls and help them cross over.
27. Which one of your OCs is most likely to have a secret stuffed animal collection?
I think Myra would but she wouldn't be ashamed if someone found it. But I don't think she shows it off or anything. It's probably just stored in her closet somewhere.
28. Which one of your OCs would make the best horror movie protagonist?
Okay Emily would be best because she is a trained hunter and a complete badass; but it would be a short movie because the killer would be killed very quickly. But to fit the cliches but STILL survive would probably be....Uuhhhh....lets go with Luna...whythehellnot.
29. Which one of your OCs is the shyest?
Molly, Theodore's WWII ghost daughter. She's super shy but super deadly so you never want to piss her off. But normally she keeps to herself unless she really likes you she'll linger very close.
30. Are any of your characters related to each other?
Theodore is the father of Agatha, Catherine, Oswald, Walter, Luna, Myra, Amos, Molly, and David. Emily is the daughter of Agatha and Jake.
Reck and Toby are father and son by adoption. (I know not RELATED by blood, but Theodore has a lot of adopted kids and I don't care they are still FAMILY!)
31. Do you have an OC who has a relative or friend played by someone else?
Theodore's ex husband Randy
Theodore's ex lover Morrea, and father Jerimya
Theodore's current husband Oliver
32. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
Fuck if I know....Probably Toby because he's a performer.
33. Do you have any certain type you favor when you create your OCs?
Demonic beings really. I think I have more male characters than I do female. I tend to do a lot of badasses who seem to be unstoppable. Lately I've been trying out new personalities like David who is a ball of sunshine always.
34. What's something you like about your OCs in general?
Their detailed worlds and character, and how they are very different from each other. I also love how most of them are connected in one way or another. Rarely are they from different worlds. They are all my babies and even if I don't do much with them, I love them all so much.
35. What's a character you no longer use?
(finally last question fuck I'm so tired God damn!)
Shadow and his gang I don't use anymore. Same with Reck, and Toby. Among so many others. A lot of characters in Theodore's world i don't use, even though they are still important to stories and I work on them sometimes, I use them rarely for anything. I have hundreds more that I most likely have completely forgotten. But hey, who knows maybe after doing this I might revive Shadow, Reck, and Toby and actually do something with some of Theodore's family for a change.
Feel free to do this! It was a lot of fun, and I've already tagged so many people! So feel free! And have fun!
